- Food and Nutrition
Promoting healthy, well-nourished families as they learn to manage food dollars, plan nutritious meals, and purchase, prepare, and serve food that is safe to eat.
- Family Economics
Helping families meet future needs while keeping pace with day-to-day expenses and addressing the basics of earning, spending, saving, investing, health care, and housing issues.
Washburn County Association for Home & Community Education (HCE) is a service organization whose mission is to provide educational opportunities, improve leadership skills of members and offer service to communities. Affiliated with Wisconsin Association for Home and Community Education ”Little Readers” is one of the service projects of Washburn County HCE that provides free books to children who might not otherwise be able to have new books of their own. Donations are welcome! Contact the Extension Office at 715-635-4444.
